Assessment
Every engagement with Eden Home Services starts with an assessment which adheres to the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) guidelines outlined by the National Association of Home Builders.
The assessment involves a walk through of the inside and outside of your home to see where safety upgrades, smart home technology and sensors could make daily life safer and more comfortable.
From there, a set of recommendations and an itemized estimate is provided allowing you choose which upgrades, if any, you would like completed.

Smart Home Comforts
Voice-controlled lights, video doorbells, smart thermostats, door keypads, and other easy-to-use devices that put independence within reach without the tech headaches.
Family Connectedness
Alerts sent to family members and/or caregivers based on abnormalities in human activity and home health via sensors that detect presence, motion, temperature, humidity, air quality, and water leaks.

Pricing
For home improvement work, pricing is based on the project and free estimates are provided.
For aging-in-place engagements, an assessment is conducted as a first step. A proposal is then generated with a breakdown of costs for the recommendations outlined in the assessment.
Credit cards and ACH payments are accepted for an additional processing fee.
About
I started Eden Home Services as a second career in 2024 after twenty-five years of fixing up my own homes and investment properties in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and California.
After receiving certifications as an Aging-in-Place Specialist and a Senior Home Safety Specialist, I have recently expanded my services to include comprehensive assessments and recommendations for those looking to stay in their homes as they age.
